If you have a groin strain, you will feel pain within your inner thigh; if the injury is severe enough, you may have difficulty walking.
Approximately 10% of ice-hockey injuries and 5% of soccer related injuries are groin injuries.
Once you have suffered one Groin injury, there is a much higher likelihood you will suffer another Groin Injury compared to the average person.
A slippery playing surface can increase your odds of a groin strain due to slipping.
Certain Lower Back Issues may potentially cause adductor muscles; weak adductor muscles are more prone to strain than stronger adductor muscles.
A complete tear of an adductor muscle will require reattachment surgery. It is relatively uncommon except in causes of significant trauma (ie. car accident)

You are an outstanding company with great service!
I have bought both the back/hip and leg inferno wraps, though I sent the leg wrap back and exchanged it for another back/hip inferno (for a friend).
My friend liked the back inferno wrap so much he bought the second one from me as soon as he used it.

I have to say I was very skeptical and only bought this product because of the 60 day return policy, and I waited a long time to send this email. I want to say THANK YOU for this product.
I am not completely pain free but would say I am 90 percen[See Full Review]t better and some days (still rare I admit) I don't think about my feet!
I work on my feet all day in the medical field and I was really discouraged about my pain. Even on bad days now, a 20 minute session really helps, and the bad days are far fewer. It seems like a lot of money, but for me it has been worth every penny. Thanks again for this product, and I plan to keep using it and hope to become pain free![Close Review]

Hi Paul. I thank you for your personal follow up.
I have bought several of your products and I will tell you right now the Inferno Wraps are the BEST.
I was in a walking boot last December for what was diagnosed as moderately severe tendonosis. [See Full Review] Surgery was recommended. Instead I gave it time and started using the Freezie Wrap and the Inferno Wrap.
After consistent and continued use of the Inferno Wrap I am 100% good to go! Your products are the best!
I fell down on ice last March, hit my left shoulder on the ground pretty hard and stirred up an old injury that hadn't bothered me for twenty years. I was in a great deal of pain and tried everything I could think of that might help. I only found tem[See Full Review]porary relief from the pain.
It wasn't until I began using your Shoulder Inferno Wrap that I truly began to heal and the pain slowly began to subside.
After several months, I still use the Wrap daily to maintain the healing and progress I've made. I then also sought the advice of a physical therapist because in addition to the pain I used to have before using the Wrap, I was still dealing with stiffness and a very limited range of motion. After examining me, the therapist said I didn't have rotator cuff issues just muscle issues, a thing called "frozen shoulder".
For seven weeks now I have received help from a massage therapist and am slowly improving the range of motion. I chose to work with her because her sessions include massage and stretching. A session leaves my shoulder feeling slightly sore. I use the Inferno Wrap afterwards and the heat I feel as it works relieves the soreness.
I am sure using the Wrap also helps the muscles "remember" longer the right way they are supposed to feel and function. Combining the Wrap with massage therapy has been a winning combo for me!
Do I dare confess...I love the Wrap so much that I will definitely buy another one. The Back Wrap will be my next purchase from you. I mean this whole-heartedly - thank you for the Wrap!
I am also pleased with your customer service. Dealing with you was a pleasure. You really do care about your customers! I am delighted and impressed with your product and your people. __________________[Close Review]
I spent 7 years in the gym walking one hour...
I spent 7 years in the gym walking one hour and working out. I lost 85 pounds in about 2 years with a lot of hard work and dedication. After I left the gym in 2008 due to it closing I started having problems about a year later. I recently had surgery[See Full Review] on my left shoulder on Jan 4th of this year to shave down the bone to leave enough space for my shoulder joint to work. It seemed to be healing slowly, until I probably reinjured it trying to cut down a small tree. I went back to my Orthopedic Surgeon for my follow up and had to have a cortizone shot in June so I could be painfree while on a long awaited vacation. The shot lasted until September and had another shot October 26 with a warning from the Dr that if I couldn't get any better through therapy by Jan 6 2011 I would have to have the full surgery with my tendons and muscles sewn up to the top of my Rotator Cuff. I told him I don't want to go through the pain again, since I can't take pain medication due to my daily med I have to take for PTSD and can't take them both at the same time. So I did some research for the last 2 months and kept coming up with the MendMeShop Left Shoulder Inferno Wrap. I printed all the material and showed it to my OS and he said to try it if I think it will help me. I received it in 2 days last Friday and was out of town overnight. So I didn't get to try it until Saturday night. I tried it wrapped over a sweater with a thermal shirt underneath and the heat went right through and felt like I was at the physical therapist. The next day I did a few 60 minute sessions and I could feel my muscles ache a little bit, but NO PAIN praise God !!! I was buying a large tube of Extra Strength Muscle Rub with 16 % Menthol once a week to bear the pain along with 800 ML of Ibuprofen.Today is Thursday and I haven't had to put any rub on my shoulder since coming home Saturday night. This Inferno Wrap is incredible and is worth every penny. I am on Disability so I can't afford to waste a penny, but this purchase is becoming a lifesaver for me. Sometimes I just unplug from the charger, tuck the little 8 inch connector, then I tighten the wrap to make it a compression support and the heat stays in it for hours and allows me to be able to function a lot less painful since I am left handed also. If I could give it a 10 star rating instead of a 5 star I would. I will keep you all up to date a few times a week as I progress, along with any replies I might receive.
This Steve's wife, Sam, writing to thank you for your follow-up and for making these great products available.
I had been suffering from tendinitis for MONTHS. The pain had gotten so bad, I could not find any comfortable position for my arm which w[See Full Review]ould throb and ache constantly. If I moved it wrong, I'd get a searing, stabbing pain that was truly excruciating. I was taking 8 ibuprofins a day and still not getting relief.
My husband was quite concerned and researched my condition on line. That's when he found your website.
He ordered the inferno wrap. I've been using it for just over a week now and my arm is almost back to normal. It is miraculous. That pain is GONE. If I move wrong, there is still some soreness, but my arm hasn't felt this good in months!
I intend to go online and write a review to encourage others to give your products a try. For less than the cost of one visit to the doctor (actually, I DID go to my doctor who just prescribed a strong pain killer...) I got a long-term solution to my problem. Thank you thank you thank you!
I wanted to take a minute and write to thank you so much for your extreme kindness and accommodation to help me replace my lost Inferno adapter.
Your products literally do heal and can help prevent surgery. I am doing well with my Knee Freezie Wr[See Full Review]ap and my Knee Inferno Wrap. A heating pad doesn't come close to how the Inferno Wrap works.
I am out there shooting the best scores of the season. I hurt my wrist, put you wrist Inferno wrap and the next marking period, 2 weeks, I was back to a 6 handicapper vs the 9 handicapper I was when I was hurt.
I lent it to my director of golf that[See Full Review] jammed his wrist. He was in serious pain. I gave him my wrist Inferno and in one day he was back to being a scratch golfer.
It's the best therapy and the only one I WILL use from now on. I also have the shoulder Inferno. I had issues and guess what? No more issues! No surgery that was recommended to me because of you guys, period, like we say in NY. Awesome product thank you.
I just wanted to send a huge thank you to your company.
I suffered a fully torn Achilles and unfortunately the system for retired Army officers is not very good -it was 5 weeks before I was seen by a surgeon. He was furious -- but we had to take th[See Full Review]e non surgical route.
After 12 weeks I was cleared and sent to physical therapy - they were dumbfounded with my progress. I shared your products and gracefully explained I would prefer to trust my health to a process that works rather than continue to gamble with a system that is a crap shoot at best. The Doctor agreed!
I love my progress and I work hard each day using the Ankle wrap heat and cold plus the knee flex. Thank you for great products - from a person who DID NOT HAVE SURGERY for a fully ruptured Achilles and the PT is dumbfounded with my progress.
I am so far ahead of my surgical repaired contemporaries.
This is my first testimonial and it would not occurred -- but when I lost my power connector for my heat ankle wrap it was replaced ASAP with no cost I was floored - thank you for mission impossible!![Close Review]
Tear of the anterior horn of the lateral...
Tear of the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus and transverse meniscal ligament.
I first want to say that after 6 full weeks of twice daily treatments, I am experiencing a tremendous improvement to my knee stability.
I just wanted to let you know how happy I have been with my wrist wrap.
I broke my leg, the tibia and fibula January 10, 2013. I had a lot of soft tissue damage to my foot since I fell off a pier and landed on gravel with my foot. My tendons ar[See Full Review]e so tight and at night they wake me up a lot, had a metatarsal lump on the bottom of my foot which gave me issues.
I was going to order the foot pad but the lady advised me to get the wrist wrap since the top of my foot was involved and she said I could probably wrap it around different places and she was so right. I am much better. I have been using it about a month now and I can tell you that I am much better. The energy from the wrap helps my tendons to stretch out and although I am not 100%, I have gone from 50% to 75% in this one month.
I only wish I had found you earlier in my ordeal and I would probably be 100% by now.
I would recommend your product to anyone who is having tendon issues after an injury. Thank you so much[Close Review]
I am a 44 year-old woman in good health. I...
I am a 44 year-old woman in good health. I eat a fresh diet and take high-quality supplements, including MSM, glucosamine, Zyflamend, and all the usual joint-recomended supplements.
I injured both knees two years ago while kneeling to tile my fami[See Full Review]ly room and entry. Subsequently, a simple twisting squat ripped my left meniscus with a huge bucket tear that required surgery to trim so it wouldn't keep catching and re-tearing. I am not one to undergo surgery unless it is unavoidable, and even after a "simple" scope operation, it took me a full year to get full extension back on that knee, and I doubt I will ever be able to squat again.
I run a cleaning business. A couple of months ago an employee had forgotten to return equipment to my van, and I had to mop some hardwood flooring for a client on my hands and knees. That simple ten-minute job put me back out of commission. The kneeling pre-injured the area, and when I stepped back onto my good leg two days later, I felt that familiar burn of a fresh meniscus tear. I was heartsick, dreading another surgery and the attendant expense, pain, and down time. I know from my previous experience that cartilage is hard to heal because of the poor blood supply, especially to the center. I knew it was just a matter of time before I tore it further. (My dad had multiple knee scopes before finally getting a replacement, but I was not going down that path if I could help it!)
I got online and researched alternatives that would get me back on my feet. Delighted to discover Mend Me Shop and their professional athletic healing devices, I ordered the Inferno Wrap and Ice Wrap. $400 would be a pittance relative to the $13,000 it costs to repair a torn meniscus (and that doesn't include rehab and lost income). During the week it took the package to arrive, I stayed off my feet as much as possible and iced the injured knee several times a day. My big hope was simply to avoid tearing the cartilage further before the stuff came. (With my surgery knee, I had re-torn it repeatedly before surgery.)
The minute that I put that Inferno wrap around my bad knee, I was in love! The penetrating warmth felt amazing. I kept it by my desk and strapped it on when I would sit and work at the computer. And I kept icing the knee. Within a couple weeks I was walking evenly on both legs, if gingerly lest I inadvertently twist or bounce. But I was definitely healing. I didn't miss any work after the first week, though I moved more slowly than usual and occasionally felt that piercing reminder of the tear. I had to lie down and elevate my knee every two hours to get through the day, but it was slowly healing. Four weeks later I was feeling so good, and the day was so sunny, that I went skipping off the front porch and was reminded I have a torn meniscus!
And so it goes to this day, some six weeks later: the injury is there, but it is gradually improving. The more I use the therapy devices, the faster it improves. The more I get lazy and feel perfect and neglect them, the more I slow down. But I work a full schedule without breaks and only occasionally am reminded of the injury. By God's grace and with many thanks to Mend Me Shop, I have avoided surgery!
I just want you to know what miraculous relief your products gave me. I had a torn ligament near the inside ankle of my left foot (called "posterior tibial tendonitis" after a long series of non-effective treatments).
I r[See Full Review]eceived this injury last OCTOBER!!! (This is August!) My podiatrist had put me in an immovable "boot" the first 2 months (from about Nov. 1, 2011, to Jan 8, 2012. Then he put me in a lesser type of brace till the middle of May. I was not getting any better, so he put me in a "permanent" molded brace which supposedly would do the trick (according to him).
But I asked the one who fitted me with this brace how long he thought I would need it, and he plainly said, "The rest of your life!" I yelled, "NOOOOOOOOOO! I will not!!! I WILL BE HEALED!" However, I didn't know how.
I then began researching on the internet some other means of healing this type of injury. I found out that tendons do not heal well by themselves, so all I was doing was propping up my injury to a lifestyle of pain and hardship. By the grace of God, I had acquired a motorized chair (I called it my "Chariot") to use, which was a life-saver for about 9 months, or I would have been virtually apartment-bound in this retirement complex where we now live. So I was grateful for the chariot, but it wasn't helping my injured foot to heal. I thought it surely MUST BE healing, but that brace-fitter gave me a rude awakening that it was not, nor would it ever be! Wow!
So I researched on the internet any possible alternatives for healing my foot.
The MENDMESHOP had the most promising way of healing torn tendons, or tendonitis, that I could find. However, we had already spent lots of money on braces, etc., so I didn't purchase it right away. But that allowed me to see that truly, I was NOT getting any better, even in that fancy, molded-to-my foot-and-calf brace. So after more careful research and printing out the articles in your website to study, my husband and I agreed to take the plunge and order the products.
Right off the bat, I found that this was a company that was honest in its dealings, because your sales rep/counselor said it had been too long since my original injury for the Freezie Wrap to be effective, and I only needed the Inferno Wrap.
That was a big PLUS in my opinion, which indicated to me that MENDMESHOP was not just out to SELL if I would buy. I even argued somewhat with the rep, but he stood firm, saying I didn't need the Freezie at this point! So I followed his advice and he was so right!
I received my Inferno Wrap on July 14 and began using it right away. I used the Inferno Wrap at Medium intensity, at about 2 PM and 11 PM. I followed that routine faithfully for about 10 days, and then increased the procedure to 3 times per day for about 5 more days.
On August 2 (only 2 weeks and 5 days into the program) I became truly healed! TRULY HEALED, can you imagine?!? I could hardly believe it, but it was so! There was no pain even without my brace on. And I have not worn the brace since! For a couple of days I still used my "Chariot" for the longer walks I had to do, but then I began leaving it behind and walking normally -- no brace, no pain, no problem! I've even been shopping now without having to use one of those motorized chairs to get around. Thank you SO MUCH!!!
I hope you will use this letter to encourage others like me to "take the plunge" and order the equipment and do the routine. It works, and I'd be happy to help anyone do it. In fact, yesterday as I was shopping, I met a woman who had a "boot" on just like the one I first had. I could sypathize greatly with her, so I told her all about you and how to access you on the internet. I pray she will.
The service from the Mend Me Shop is by far the best you could ever hope for. I have spoken to Paul on numerous occasions and his knowledge is very much appreciated. I was hesitant to purchase the dorsal night splint since I thought that it would be awkward to sleep with, but with a limited budget I decided to purchase the splint and the freeze wrap for treating plantar fascitis. Within less than 2 weeks I notice[See Full Review]d that I could walk without pain when I got up in the morning! This was amazing, since it usually took several minutes of severe limping before I could walk normally in the past. I just did a trip with my husband where we walked on hiking trails for up to 5 miles each day and my foot did just fine. I was amazed that I could do all this with only 2 weeks of treatment![Close Review]

I'm VERY happy with the elbow wraps--GREAT designs! My doctor told me that torn tendons can take months to heal; so, I'm not expecting overnight results.
I am very pleased, especially with the inferno wrap. At first when I received it, I was wondering if it was going to really help, more than my heating pad.
I can tell you today, my wrist has gotten so much better!
I use the inferno wrap every even[See Full Review]ing in my down time before heading to bed, on the weekend did use it much more and believe that did help. I had severely stretched/pulled the tendons in my wrist, became very painful, going about the routines of life.
I am so very happy with the purchase and am a big fan of the Mendmeshop, thanks for helping me to get my life back on the road to being somewhat normal!
I do like the freezie wrap too, being able to put it on and leave it there but still move around.
I will surely recommend your site to anyone I know in the future that injures themselves and wants to be on the road to recovery as soon as possible.[Close Review]
First I have a bad knee with arthritis and...
First I have a bad knee with arthritis and loss of cartilage.
Over a year ago I was advised by my doctor to get a knee replacement. I am 70 years old using a arthritis drug, it is not effective as it once was, so I have been getting special shots [See Full Review]in my knee, This combination brought my pain level down quite a bit. But I was looking for more because I didn?t want a knee replacement yet.
I found you add on the internet for the Freezie and Inferno Wraps. I bought both. When my knee swells from too much activity I use freeze to help bring down the swelling. The freeze really works great and relieves the pain. On a Daily basis when I get up, I use the Inferno Wrap and I immediately can become active for most normal activities for the day without pain, unless I overdo then I do the Freezie. I also use the heat at night when I go to bed which relieves any pain I might have then.
I have since bought an Inferno knee wrap for my wife and she says it is the best thing she has ever used to comfort her bad knees. Both her knees are bad with arthritis, and she is wanting another one so she can do both knees at the same time.
I also have a lower back that for years was either causing spasms in either side when I would overdo activities, I bought the back Inferno after having such great success with it, each morning I lay it on the bed and lie on it for 20 min before I start my Daily activities. As long as I do this every day I have not had back problems. If I go for a few days without it, my back will start to tighten up again. I then lie on it for relief.
One time my back went out completely when not using it and instead of the 2 weeks to get back in shape it only took a few days while using the Inferno. I now use it every morning and night and my back has not went out for some time.
My only concern is now my wife is using it so we have to fight for it. Soon we will have to get her one.
I am very active in sports and daily activities that require lot of stress on body parts, and as you get older, these body parts don?t work as good as they used to and causes pain. So any help I can get I will go for it. I have also used these wraps on leg muscle cramps for very fast relief and for stiff necks.
Anywhere I get a pain I try to wrap one of these Inferno Wrap around it for relief.
A couple of years ago I helped my husband cut firewood on a hillside. I began to experience pain in my Achilles tendon shortly after we had finished getting all of the firewood cut, split and stacked. I limped through the winter and in the spring be[See Full Review]gan to worry that I wouldn't be able to take care of my gardens.
I finally went to the doctor and was prescribed physical therapy.
The PT did help with the pain but didn't really "cure" the problem. I continued home physical therapy for another year and began to research therapies to help the tendon. I wanted to avoid surgery if possible.
I came across the MendMeShop website and read about the products recommended for Achilles tendon. The cost seemed minimal compared to what I had already spent at the doctor and physical therapist. I ordered the Inferno Wrap and the Freezie Wrap for the ankle and used them according to the directions.
I felt great pain relief and the flexibility in my Achilles returned within a few weeks of treatments.
I have also been using a night splint following my last Inferno Wrap night treatment before retiring. With that regimen, I have been able to avoid a surgical tendon correction and have been able to resume my normal busy activities.
Thank you MendMeShop for your great products and customer service follow-up of the shipment of products.[Close Review]

I really never expected such good service!
I have a trochanteric bursitis, and have been seriously bothered by it for more than a year. My rheumatologist gave me two steroid injections which helped briefly and then the pain started again, and th[See Full Review]at pain is almost crippling. Celebrex was recommended and it worked for me except that I have IBS and unfortunately couldn?t continue to take it. Besides it is a systematic drug and who knows what else it may effect.
I was in pain and decided to check out the internet and that is where I found you. I was uncertain about the use of electromagnetic therapy, it sounded like it might be in the snake oil category, but fortunately for me I got good confirmation about the legitimacy of the product.
I have to say I am so glad that I made the purchase.
You are right I felt a difference with the first treatment using the inferno wrap. I have continued to use it about two times a day. I am very impressed with you product. I still have pain, more on same days than others, but it is greatly reduced and I am able to walk without severe pain.
I also ordered the freeze wrap but haven?t used it yet. I expect a situation will arise when I may want to. I will recommend you and your product to anyone who may benefit.
I wanted to get back to you with feedback about the Inferno Wrap. So far we are very pleased with the size, light weight, flexibility and comfort of the wrap.
It is very convenient the way the cord is set up. If one has to leave the area for a m[See Full Review]oment it is much easier now because instead of removing the entire wrap or unplugging the whole thing from the wall, you can just detach at the segment.
I like the on/off switch, too. It is much easier to see which setting it is on.
Everything about this new product seems more intelligent and user friendly. A lot of thought was put into improving on the old product. Well done to all involved!!![Close Review]
A Groin Strain is an injury that is common in specific sports such as ice hockey, swimming, basketball, soccer, rugby, and dancing.
The function of the groin muscles (adductors) is to "adduct" the thigh. In simpler terms it means the groin muscles pull the femur (large bone in upper leg) and knee inward. If you were lying down with a beachball between your feet - to exert more pressure on the beachball, most of the work would be done by the adductor muscles.
A "groin" strain usually refers to a muscle strain in one of the hip adductor muscles. These muscles are the: Adductor Brevis, Adductor Longus, Adductor Magnus, Gracilis, and the Pectineus
